A few years ago, we spent our honeymoon in Japan and several amazing days around Takayama. While there, we bought a pair of antique glass sake glasses to symbolize our new marriage. Recently one of these was broken and we%26#39;re now shocked by our loss of such an important treasure.
Does anyone here know Takayama well enough to help me find the particular antique shop on the east end of town? I have some pictures of the inside of the store and I have a good memory about where it was. We do have a friend in central Japan that can help us actually buy a new set for us, we just need help finding the right store.
I certainly realize this is a long shot. If anyone here can help us with this important quest, we will forever be appreciative.

Very good advice, thank you. I have prepared a wikimap as you suggested and will try to post the link here (if possible). I%26#39;ll prepare an email for the Tourist Information Center as you suggested as well - I do remember very well how helpful the TIC%26#39;s are!
