We have a reservation at the above hotel

What is the best way to get to KIX for 8.00 am ish in the morning. I hear taxis are silly money?

Should i cancel booking and use money that it would cost to transfer to stay at the airport hotel?

The hotel is close to SUMINOE KOEN station on the Yotsubashi Line (if the map displays right, your hotel is the H below Suminoe Koen train station, which you don%26#39;t want. The subway station you want (name not in Roman letters) is the pink area to the right of the train station). From there it is an hour and a half to the airport: Subway to Nanba (often written Namba) station, walk to Nankai-Nanba station and take the Airport Express to the airport. At that time of day, the subway runs about every ten minutes and the Airport Express about twice an hour.

From Kyoto, there are lots of trains to Osaka Station. From there, walk to Nishi Umeda (NISHIUMEDA in Hyperdia) Subway station and take the subway to Suminoe Koen. I think you want Exit 5. About 1 hour travel time.
