Osaka will be very hot in July, probably Okinawa too. It would be best to start your trip in the south and be up in Hokkaido by the time the really hot weather starts as it should be much cooler then.

Hokkaido is gorgeous between July and early August so you should plan your trip then. Okinawa would be a good beach destination when the summer starts although you have to watch for typhoons. Perhaps you could go to Osaka and Kyoto during the cherry blossom season in early April.

Certain days in the summer can really be quite hot all over Japan. Even Hokkaido can get near 30 during the daytime. Having said that, it normally shouldn%26#39;t be any hotter than Singapore, and it%26#39;s typically only a few days.
