GAP Adventures, Part Duex, your rec for tour company

Wow, reading the comments from people who use GAP made me wonder, does anyone have another recommendation for a tour company which visits Japan?

We%26#39;re interested in visiting Tokyo, Kyoto for Gion, Hiroshima and maybe Osaka.

I%26#39;ve seen some good reviews of Intrepid Travel:

Travel from city to city is quite straightforward, though. Most people find Kyoto easy enough to navigate (we just took taxis last time, but there are buses that serve the main tourist sights). It%26#39;s easy to reach from Osaka%26#39;s Kansai International Airport (KIX). Tokyo can be overwhelming but the descriptions of the city tours did not excite me.

http://www.japan-guide.com/ is a good source of information. Look at the itineraries of the tour companies, search the destinations in Japan Guide and see if you are up to doing them on your own.

One tour company I have come across offering tours of Japan is JTB Sunrise Tours. See their website in English at: http://www.jtbgmt.com/sunrisetour/

(JTB is the gold-standard of Japanese travel, so while they may be a bit pricey, you can count on a very professional and dependable tour, and it is the most efficient way to see the major sites in a limited time, without transportation hassles.)

Thanks to all!
