Mt Yoshino Trip Worth It?

I will be going to Osaka in early Apr.

Would like to check, is it worth it to go to Mt Yoshino to see the sakura?

From the newspapers advertisements here, all the tour packages to Japan does not include a visit to Mt Yoshino. Wonder why is this so? Is it because Mt Yoshino is not worth a visit?
