Hostel recommendation

Am visiting Tokyo for first time end of March on work/holiday visa. Any great hostel recommendations appreciated. Would like free internet access (job hunting:) ) and luggage room storage. Thanks in advance.

Hostel recommendation

There are a couple of places that might be suitable, I don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;re looking for a private room or don%26#39;t mind sharing though

I stayed in the this one last year for 4 nights, it was comfortable enough, the internet access wasn%26#39;t free though, but cheap enough 100Y for 15/20mins (I forget) so not much and its in a good location not too far from subway/train station in Asakusa. I took a private room as I was travelling with friends and it was nice they had a small kitchen area so you can cook if you like etc.

These are good starting points I think, you might find they have links to other places for looking around.

If you%26#39;re looking for long-term accommodations, look for a gaijin house. See:

Well,

if youre not too picky there this hostel:

Free WiFi.

Its near Takadanobaba station and Waseda station just north of Shinjuku.

$12 a night.

This place has more hostel and travel info:

I hope this helps.:)

Khaosan Tokyo, which is in Asakusa, provides free internet access. Although they don%26#39;t strictly have a luggage room, you can most definitely store luggage at the hostel.

The only potential downside is that it%26#39;s not that close to Shinjuku/Roppongi/hip places etc. Just a nice, quiet traditional area.
