Mt. Fuji in November.

I would like to know how much snow would be on Mt Fuji in November thank you. We are hopeing to do abit of skiing.

Mt. Fuji in November.

Hey, Mr. Tall and Handsome,

:-)

Skiing on Mt. Fuji? Were you planning on climbing it with your skiis on your back, then ski down?

Like Mr. Miura in 1966 when he skied down Mt Fuji, using a parachute? It was the best way to stop. ';Mt.Fuji Chokkakou'; was a movie made about his adventure.

You will need permission, if you want to do it properly, but I suppose you can go on your own, although if anything should happen, no one will know you were there.............

Can%26#39;t say how much snow there will be as it depends on the year as to when it starts snowing. But the climbing season ends at the end of August, so after that, it%26#39;s ';not recoommended.';

There was recently a thread on TA.

I was rather curious as climbing the mountain and skiing (although not on the same mountain) lie close to my heart, so I went on a web surfing trip.

Here%26#39;s someone that climbed it in June. Glad his experiences weren%26#39;t that different from mine! lol http://www.outdoorsocial.com/fuji.htm

Here%26#39;s a report by someone who ';biked'; down. mtbike.mountainzone.com/2005/fuji/index.html

There%26#39;s a japan-guide.com forum that also discusses this topic.

Type in ';skiing down Mt. Fuji'; and see all the sites on yahoo or google.

There%26#39;s a ski resort on Mt. Fuji. Snow Town ';Yeti.'; http://www.yeti-resort.com/e/index.html

Have fun!
