urgent question.

hi guys, need advice on something urgent.

my flight will be arriving in narita at 8.20pm, according to the NEX timetable i checked, the last NEX to tokyo(Ikebukuro station) is leaving from narita at 9.44pm. Will there be enough time for me to do the immigration procedures, collect my lugguage, get my JR Pass activated at the office, and finally board the 9.44pm train? Pls advise! thks.

You have plenty of time. Unless your flight is delayed, you can easily make it.

I always arrive in the morning but have never failed to clear immigration and customs in less than 30 minutes.

In addition to what others have said, you have other options besides NEX; it might take marginally longer (about 20 minutes). Just want to reassure you that the NEX is not your only option.

Late in the evening at NRT is much better than the afternoon peak hours so you should be ok.

hi guys thanks, i know there%26#39;s the option of the limousine bus too for 3000Yen. But since i%26#39;m intending to get the JR Pass bc i%26#39;m travelling to osaka %26amp; kyoto and then back to tokyo on days 4-7, i might as well activate the pass for the NEX to my tokyo hotel on day 1? i hope i%26#39;ve fully utilised my 7 day JE Pass in this way.

If all your trips are within the 7 calendar time frame I don%26#39;t see why not you shouldn%26#39;t activate it.
