The general peak of lavender blooming is July through early August. If you go sometime during this period, you should have plenty of lavender to see. Keep in mind that at various flower farms and public parks, there are many more flowers than just lavender.

This should give you an idea of when what flowers are blooming when, the lavender blooms for a while during July/August so you should have a chance to see it then.

So, now I have 2 option for the departure date 16/7/2009 or 26/7/2009, which one is better day to departure? Our trip is only for 7days. Thanks for the advise.

There is really no significant difference between the two dates so pick the one that is more convenient for yourself.
