Festivals in May

Hi everyone, I heard there is a Kanda Matsuri and a Sanja Matsuri festival that goes on in tokyo in May. Are they held every year? If yes, which would have a more %26#39;wow%26#39; factor for tourist? I am planning a trip for May 09.

Too bad you will be missing out this Shinto festival in Kanagawa on April 4th this year.

From what I can gather off the internet, the Sanja MAtsuri is held on the third Saturday and Sunday of May every year and Kand Matsuri is held in Mid May during odd numbered years.

Is the above information correct? and does anyone have the dates that Kanda Matsuri will be held this year?
