Cultural experiences in Kyoto or Tokyo

I%26#39;ve been on the WAK website and was really interested in some of the experiences they offer like tea ceremony, koto playing, flower arranging, etc. Is there any other places in Kyoto or Tokyo that offer such services? And for anyone that has attending any of these, is it worth taking time/money away from siteseeing for those couple hours?
