Nippori Textile Town .... hmmm....

Hello,

I will be in Japan around April 5. I really want to visit Nippori Textile Town. Could anyone tell me how I would get from the Narita Airport to Nippori Textile Town. And could anyone recommend a hotel near Nippori Textile Town that would be nice for me and my mother to stay... hopefully a short walk from the area or even a short taxi drive.

And is there a 100 yen shop nearby? Hoping to go to a large 100 yen shop too:)

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Chariko

Hi, Chariko,

If you%26#39;re looking for textiles, you might be able to find something at ONE store! (Or just a couple.) Scroll down to the bottom of this thread and take a look at the blogsite written by TuttiFrutti. She had lots of suggestions for textile shopping.

There%26#39;s a BIG 100 yen shop in Harajuku (Daiso). Take the Takeshita-dori exit (back of train if you%26#39;re coming from Shinjuku), walk across the street to Takeshita-dori. It%26#39;s a couple of doors on your left past McDonald%26#39;s. Remember that it%26#39;s 105 yen, including tax.
