Self Drive Hokkaido itinerary to share?

Hi there.

I would be in Hokkaido for about 6 days. Any one have any self drive itinerary to share with me?

Is it too ambitious of me to cover Sapporo, Otaru, Hakodate, Biei and Furano in just 6 days??

Please advice.

Because Hakodate and Furano/Biei are in opposite directions, long drives would be involved. If you don%26#39;t mind them, then with 6 days, you can definitely cover the places you want to go.

I suggest you pick up your car from the airport and go directly to Furano and Biei. You can stay there for two days. Then come back for Otaru for one day to break up the drive. The next day, go to Hakodate for one day. Drive back to Sapporo and return your car as you would not need it for the city.
