Keio Plaza - Comfort Room?

Hi there,

I%26#39;m travelling to Japan late March and am considering staying at Keio Plaza. I%26#39;ve read some of the reviews and forums but I%26#39;m trying to work out if a Premier Room is the same as a Plaza Comfort room? I%26#39;ve noticed in some reviews they have been spoken about like they%26#39;re the same type of room?

Is this the case? I%26#39;m looking to book a plaza comfort room in the South tower.

Thank you in advance!

Keio Plaza - Comfort Room?

With regards terms like ';comfort'; room, based on our stay at Villa Fontaine in Tokyo, it came with a foot massager - so I assume Keio would be providing something similar ( struggled to operate it properly - all instruction in Japanese ).

Keio Plaza, being an International Hotel, should be able to communicate in English if you contact them.

We stayed at the Keio Plaza in Nov. 2007. We had a room in the South Tower while friends who met us there had a room in the Main Tower. Comparing the rooms, the Main Tower is much newer - the South look dated by comparison. Having said that, the rooms were very clean and I recollect rooms in the Main Tower were more expensive - so I would not hesitate recommending the South Tower unless you don%26#39;t mind spending extra for the Main Tower. Try an get a deal that includes buffet breakfast - it%26#39;s well worth it - excellent range of both Western and Japanese cuisines !

Keio Plaza - Comfort Room?

We stayed in a renovated room in the South Tower, and I think it was called the comfort toom (the stay was a present, so I wasn%26#39;t supposed to know all the specifics (^^)

The room was lovely and beautifully appointed. All the comforts of a superior international hotel, and the breakfast was civilised and tasty.

The Keio Plaza has brief room descriptions on their English site:

They seem to leave off their least expensive tier (';standard';) for some reason. At any rate, Premier and Comfort are not the same. But there is certainly nothing wrong with the Comfort level.

Thanks to you all - that certainly helps out with my decision. Going to book the accomodation today and will check the difference in price with premier and comfort.

Cheers
