Trips from Muroran

In September we%26#39;ll be arriving in Muroran, on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, and have a day to tour. What do you recommend? Would it be worth it to take a trip to Sapporo or are there other places we should see. Thanks for your information,

It would be worth seeing Sapporo, depening on what other cities in Japan you%26#39;ll be seeing.

There are whale-watching cruises in Muroran, but I think the last is in August.

Shiraoi Ainu Culture Village

Sapporo

Shuttle bus to downtown Muroran.

we%26#39;ve also recommended local taxi companies that can be booked for a private drive around with a non-English speaking driver - Noboribetsu Onsen is a popular place.
