kintetsu train kyoto to kintetsu-namba

Do we have to change train (at yamato-saidaiji station) if travelling from kyoto to namba using kintetsu train. Also how frequent does the kintetsu train run from kyoto to namba

kintetsu train kyoto to kintetsu-namba

No. It%26#39;s a direct train on Kintetsu Nara Line. Take the Express train which runs every 20 minutes.

You can check your options at http://www.hyperdia.com. The starting station is YAMATOSAIDAIJI and the destination station is KINTETSUNANBA (Namba is spelled ';Nanba'; in Hyperdia%26#39;s database).

Yes, you have to make a transfer at Saidaiji. The Kintetsu Line is not a very convenient line to take when you go from Kyoto to Osaka, mainly because it takes so long. The JR, Hankyu or Keihan lines are faster and more convenient.

Sammy,

You%26#39;re correct. From Saidaiji to Nanba takes 30 minutes, but bdl14 wants to go to Nanba from Kyoto using the Kintetsu lines. To get to Saidaiji from Kyoto takes 30 minutes on the Ltd.Express (paying a surcharge) or 40 minutes on a express train. From Saidaiji to Namba takes another 30 minutes.
